just while i'm on about character design and such i thought i'd mention skillful huntsman, its a great book that i bought last project on the advice of mark harrison (of rebellion games and 2000ad) its fu;; of good ideas and techniques for generating this kind of concept work and by trying out the gear inside for myself i feel much more confident as a design artist and illustrator. these pictures are the front cover and some examples of mike yamada's work from its crystal pages.
