this is pretty cool, there is a monster hunter comic, and its been translated to english so i guess monster hunter is more popular in the west than i thought it was. i gave the comic a butchers anyway and theres just one issue so far that i can find but its good, its about one hunter trying to make a name for himself and put his mentors teachings to good use and another hunter just wants to be left alone. it doesn't really draw on the iconic team of 4 or adhere to particular recognizable armours but it does use scenes, weapons, monsters and themes from the game.
