these are images from a book i've been trying to track down for a while now, the official artwork for monster hunter, its not so much with the rough concepts but you can find a lot of this kind of finished design work for the armours. its going to function as a great style guide for me when i'm getting on with the final pages for the comic, its clear to see that they've used very neat and finished images with a distinct anime flavour. i really like the colour work too, sort of a bit flat and soft like a fantasy colour set.
